May Astrology Sessions Are Open 🌿 and a poem for you

KP KASZUBOWSKI

POET, FILMMAKER, ASTROLOGER

Hello Friend,

I believe astrology isn’t about changing ourselves — it’s about making a kind, honest acquaintance with all the parts of who we are. When we build that relationship, something beautiful happens: more peace, more self-acceptance, more room to breathe inside our own lives.

In my past clients' words: my sessions offer calm, clarity, and self-compassion for all parts of you / help you come out of a spiral and into trust / get you excited for what's next.

If you’re looking for thoughtful support through a season of change (or just a check-in with yourself), my May books are now open!

🌟 First session: $80
🌟 Follow-up sessions: $50 (designed for regular care and connection)

Each session is a space for you to be met exactly as you are — with care, clarity, and encouragement for your path ahead.

I’d love to work with you.

Book Your Session here.

With care,
KPK

the fruit contains the seed

by KP Kaszubowski

What? You asked to be a vessel for fruit, for brilliant sparkle on the tropical surface,

you asked to be boiled by the sun, this purification routine, day after day,

in your body gathering, bloating, all that you were resistant to erase,

with a boar we roasted, turning, turning, marking the shift, a sacrifice we displayed.

We offer gifts to your body, often enough for your body to tell us more:

flowers, incense, meat, rice. We arrive with something before we push for something.

Like a good friendship, we do not force it. We walk in quietly so as not to disturb

the way the light danced along your legs. The runnels around your ankle as they rang.

But you outlasted us. Every spring, every summer, every salad we made from herbs

meant for your pleasure. We offered you these gifts to bring you to action, with stings,

with sharp combs. It was clear there was yet a blue tundra in you that had not thawed.

So then the task is to, as a good friend, walk with you until your feet have rubbed raw.

I wrote this poem with Bethany and Shea a couple Sundays ago, contemplating how I treat my self and my body, hoping to be more like a friend tending to a relationship rather than a task master with *improvement* in mind. And so I remembered these rice and flower offerings on the island of Bali and how many times each day the women would leave them at the altars, and later on chicks and a hen would come by to eat from them, pecking the petals of the flowers out of the way.

I wanted to treat my body like an altar, with my offerings benefiting all the living things around it.

I wanted my life to fruit with the same essence of how I treat my own self. I don't know where I am going with this other than to express a level of desperation for relationship with myself that is kind, present, and pleasurable, and for all the rest of my relationships in my life with others to feel like that too.

  • Breena and I are discussing our next portal study. If you'd like to be the first to know what we're designing, get on the waitlist here.
  • I am pitching "grief tending" and "fire racing under skin" (desire / body) writing workshops around to community spaces. If you think you or your organization would like a visiting workshop aimed at community building, healing together, and going deeper into one's own experience, reach out! I'd love to send over my proposal document.
  • Chelsea Owens and I are hard at work on our not-yet-announced IFS and Astrology podcast. Look out for updates on that later in May / early June.
  • Soon I'll be offering astro-branding and website building services. Let me know if you're curious about my process and want to see some work samples!

KP KASZUBOWSKI POET, FILMMAKER, ASTROLOGER In February I put my astrology practice "in the cave" after a very clear gut message saying I needed to make sense for something that was brewing. [this *something* is still in its own cave, and will be for a while as I craft it scene-by-scene] Silly as it sounds, I thought this nudge was to put my practice in the cave for years... turns out I needed a very short pause in order to tend to those creative bulbs. What can I say? I'm a dramatic person....

KP KASZUBOWSKI POET, FILMMAKER, ASTROLOGER Tomorrow is the final day to sign up for portal studies [bone course], and I want to make sure you don’t miss the chance to join this transformative journey. Look, every day we're getting another set of dog-shit news from the people who are supposed to be protecting us. (I don't care if I sound like a West Wing-era Pollyanna when I say I believe our representatives are meant to work for us, not against our basic human needs.) I've personally been...

KP KASZUBOWSKI POET, FILMMAKER, RESEARCHER Dear Friend, What if you could tap into the deep wisdom of your body, sharpen your creative instincts, and build unshakable self-belief in just five Sundays? That’s what our [bone course] is designed to do. When Breena and I created this first portal study, we thought we’d focus on grief, on honoring what’s been lost. But what emerged was something even more urgent: a call to personal power, resilience, and creative grit. This course was built in...
